I should like to express my gratitude for the many blessings I have enjoyed through the study of Christian Science. My first healing came about after I had been reading the textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy, for about a fortnight. I was able to leave off my glasses, which I had worn for twenty years. Previous to this an oculist had told me I should always have to wear glasses; in fact, I was advised to have two pairs, as I suffered terribly with headache whenever I had to wait for them while they were being mended. I always put on my glasses when I got up in the morning, but on a certain occasion, as I was doing so, a voice seemed to say to me, You do not need to wear those glasses. I immediately took them off and have not needed them since. It is now seven years since this healing, and I am able to do the finest needlework. I am very grateful for the spiritual understanding I am gaining day by day, also to our beloved Leader for her beautiful teaching.
