Lecturer: Paul Stark Seeley; introduced by Miss Tena Josine Jorgensen, who said:—

I personally have had a happy experience through the teachings of Christian Science. More than twenty years ago, after three physicians in Seattle had given me but a short time to live, I was healed in a few weeks of tuberculosis in its last stages, by reading the Bible and "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy, and applying the truths found therein. We read in John: "And we know that the Son of God is come, and hath given us an understanding, that we may know him that is true, and we are in him that is true, even in his Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God, and eternal life." In Science and Health (p. 242) Mrs. Eddy writes: "There is but one way to heaven, harmony, and Christ in divine Science shows us this way. It is to know no other reality—to have no other consciousness of life—than good, God and His reflection, and to rise superior to the so-called pain and pleasure of the senses."
