The following testimony gives a proof that distance is no obstacle to treatment in Christian Science.

After being bedridden for three years because of stiffness of the neck contracted doing border service in 1917–1918, I was completely healed in three weeks by Christian Science. In 1924 I was severely injured in an automobile accident; and again I have to thank Christian Science that my left leg did not have to be amputated, and that there were no bad after effects.

From the end of January to the end of March, 1931, I was in Berlin on business, and two weeks before my return home I was seized with jaundice. At the same time I lost my appetite, and my wife, who was with me, was overcome by the fear that something worse might happen to me.
