I have been a student of Christian Science for fourteen years, and in that time I have had many physical healings and have been helped in many other ways. Christian Science found me sick mentally and physically, and it came to me like a ray of sunshine breaking through a dark cloud. Lack has been overcome.

One of the demonstrations I wish to relate is the healing of cancer in its last stages. I had been ill a long time and had had help for this trouble, but there was a great deal of fear expressed in my home and I did not seem able to get my healing. I finally grew so ill that members of my family insisted on calling a physician. The latter ordered me to the hospital for an operation. I asked the doctor if he could heal me, and he answered that he could promise me nothing. While under examination I had no fear. I knew that God is my Life, that no harm could come to His child, and I kept repeating to myself the last stanza of the hymn beginning with the words,
