As we pause to give thanks to our heavenly Father, we cannot find words to express the gratitude that fills the heart. One of the things for which I shall never cease to be thankful is the wonderful privilege I had of attending the Christian Science Sunday School. It was there that I received much of the truth, and there a firm foundation was laid, upon which I have been able to build through the years, with a broader and better understanding of things spiritual.

My first healing in Science, when I was a child of twelve years, was of the need of wearing glasses. Some twenty years ago my father was much discouraged at receiving no help from some of the best physicians in the city which was then our home. Christian Science came to him, and he was healed. This Science was from then on a great help to my parents, as well as to the entire family.

Instantaneous healings, as well as slow ones, have been experienced. A trouble, for which I had had much help, seemed very stubborn. One day I took my Bible and other books and sat down to read. As I read I found such peace and faith that I knew I was healed. There was no visible sign of it, yet I rejoiced, as I was positive of the healing; and in two weeks' time came the full manifestation. During those two weeks I never doubted. The healing was permanent. I was also healed of an inward goiter, and have had many minor healings as well. The most recent healing was that of asthma, which had troubled me for a number of years, and which, during a certain time of the year, gave me much distress.
