In reply to the question raised by "Student" in his letter that appeared in your columns on March 11, I would point out that, as I have already stated in my former letter, Christian Science teaches that the belief in a physical life resident in a material body is a misconception of the so-called human mind, a misconception which must be, and eventually will be, overcome by the realization and demonstration of the glorious fact that life is spiritual, not material, and that there is only one Life.
A request for a practitioner to visit Dartmoor Prison having been received, First Church of Christ, Scientist, Torquay, undertook this work; and the member appointed informs me that the first visit was paid on May 6th; two men were registered as Christian Scientists.
