It is with sincere gratitude for what Christian Science has meant to me and mine for the past fifteen years that I write this testimony.

Christian Science came to me when my home was on the verge of being broken up. Through the study and application of its teachings discord and inharmony fell away and peace and happiness took their place. During this time we have had many trials, and therefore many proofs of God's care. The physical healings have been many; varicose veins, St. Vitus's dance, a severe case of measles, a heart attack of a very serious nature, influenza, a bowel trouble of forty-two years' standing, insomnia, ptomaine poisoning pneumonia, chapped hands, and many other difficulties have been overcome.

One experience for which I shall always be grateful was that of painless childbirth. The proof that there need be no pain at such a time was a wonderful experience to me. The kindly expression of the physician who attended me at the births of my last three children was also proof to me that Science had been demonstrated. He said, "If Christian Science had anything to do with those cases it is well worth considering."
