It is with deep gratitude to Mary Baker Eddy for all the good she has brought to humanity in giving us "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" and her other writings that I give this testimony.
It was in the year 1907 that I first became acquainted with Christian Science. I am very grateful to the gentleman who was kind enough to tell me of this wonderful truth. I was in deep sorrow at the time. This was overcome through reading Science and Health; also bronchitis and coughs and colds that seemed to trouble me periodically were healed. Since that time I have depended entirely upon Christian Science to overcome all physical troubles.
In 1911 I was healed of a fever. In 1915 our little son, only eighteen months old, broke his collar bone. We asked for the help of a Christian Science practitioner, and in a few days decided to have our son examined by a doctor. The doctor stated that the collar bone had been broken, but was now joined together and was firm, so he did not see any reason to interfere with it. For this healing we are very thankful, and for the help received from the practitioner.
