Christian Science was presented to me about twenty-seven years ago through a neighbor. I had been under the care of thirteen physicians. I had been bedfast for three years and had been operated on twice, but the doctors failed completely in all their kind efforts to relieve me. I became a mental and physical wreck, at times scarcely able to walk across the floor.

I requested a Christian Science practitioner to come to see me. She came the next day and asked if I were willing to give up medicine. I agreed to try it. She started at once to apply the truth and instantly I was relieved of great suffering. I slept all that night, something I had not done in three years. The healing was accomplished after much study of the Bible and the Christian Science textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy.

I should like to express my gratitude for all that Christian Science has done for me and for my family. I have found a religion which gives me a beautiful understanding of God and man. My desire is so to live that I may prove my gratitude to God.
