The Mother Church

In Article VIII, Section 15, of the Manual of The Mother Church Mrs. Eddy says, "God requires our whole heart, and He supplies within the wide channels of The Mother Church dutiful and sufficient occupation for all its members."

To apportion to each one of the many thousands of members of The Mother Church a position in the business of its organization would be impossible. But the alert student of Christian Science soon discovers that each member of The First Church of Christ, Scientist, in Boston, Massachusetts, wherever he may find himself located, is specifically employed in following the Golden Rule, in reforming himself, and in learning, loving, and demonstrating the truths of Christian Science. This enriching and ennobling occupation gives him plenty of employment and limitless true remuneration.

In accordance with the teachings of Christian Science, men and women in every walk of life today are making valiant efforts to attain this higher, purer, and more noble standard of living, Through awakened spiritual sense they are recognizing that individual obedience to divine Principle, together with active, consecrated practice of its rules, unfolds the true significance of The First Church of Christ, Scientist. in Boston. Massachusetts.
