My Prayer

AGNES W. WRIGHT

Help me, O Lord, to give up self,
And ever humble be;
So would I take Thy hand in mine,
And strive to follow Thee.

Help me, O Lord, much more each day,
My gratitude to show
By helping some dear child of Thine
Thy healing truth to know.

Help me, O Lord, to know and prove
Thy power, and Thine alone,
Can take away each mortal fault
And melt the heart of stone.
