With a deep sense of gratitude for all the good that has...
With a deep sense of gratitude for all the good that has come to me through the study of Christian Science I wish to share a few of my many blessings. I have been healed of headaches, influenza, weak eyes, and many other ailments. Some of the healings were accomplished through the work of a practitioner, and others through my own understanding. I have seen the lack of proper employment and the resultant problems fade away; also, I have been wonderfully protected, and all my needs have been met.
A recent healing gave me such a spiritual uplifting that I feel I must tell of it. After going to bed one night, perfectly well and happy, I was suddenly seized with an acute attack of poisoning and just managed to call for the help of a practitioner. It seemed for a few hours to be a stiff fight, but Truth won. I was able to get into bed and slept for a couple of hours, and wakened in the morning feeling well, except for a slight weakness; I was able to go to work and eat my meals quite naturally, and by night the healing was complete.
I am very grateful to Mrs. Eddy for her wonderful life, keeping so close to God that she could reveal to us this wonderful truth; grateful to the practitioners and friends who have helped me along the way; for the great privilege of being a member of The Mother Church and a branch church, and for class instruction.—(Miss) Winifred A. Mills, Ottawa, Ontario, Canada.
