God's Will Is Done

God's will is done in heaven and earth!
If we should learn the eternal worth
Of this forever truth,
How much of worldly woe and strife
Would disappear from human life
And leave a living proof.

God's will is done in heaven and earth!
There is no lack of good, or dearth
Of God's almighty power
To keep His kingdom in His hand,
To cause His child in peace to stand
Through every day and hour.

God's will is done in heaven and earth!
'Tis my one task to prove the worth
Of this forever fact;
For as we learn of God and man
We see this truth is all that can
Or will remain intact.
