Among the Churches

Current Notes

Nanaimo, British Columbia, Canada (Society).—The opening service of the new church of Christian Science Society in Nanaimo has now been held. In December, 1931, the McDonald property on Chapel Street was purchased, and plans were made for the remodeling of the building for use as a church. In September of this year work was started, and the completion of the building marks the fulfillment of an earnest desire of local Christian Scientists for a church of their own. The new church is twenty-five by thirty-four feet with an entrance porch and portico. It is finished in stucco and has windows of amber-colored glass.
