Eleven years ago I was a physical wreck, and I suffered for two years and a half. I was suffering from paralysis, and my spine was like the letter "S." Three doctors, attending me from time to time, did all they could to help, but finally gave me up and said I should never walk again. A friend kindly asked a Christian Science practitioner to call and see my mother, and from the first call I listened with eagerness to the conversation between my mother and the practitioner. I was greatly helped by these frequent and uplifting talks on Christian Science, and asked that I might have Christian Science help.
This help was most lovingly given, and in a week I sent for the practitioner to come, as I wanted to get up. I felt that I was healed and must get up. Mother could not find my shoes for a while, for I had not worn them for over two years; but at last they were found and I arose and dressed, assisted by my mother and the practitioner. At first I walked round the table, and the same morning walked out with the practitioner to her home and had lunch. It was not long before I obtained work, and I have been enabled to earn my living and reach out as never before. I am most grateful for this healing, for I know nothing but the power of divine Love could have wrought such a change in my life.
