The experience of many years in Christian Science has brought me many blessings, and my gratitude grows more profound each day for the good that has unfolded during this period in the relief from ills of the flesh and from anxiety over social, business, and financial problems. Christian Science has brought to my consciousness a surer and more secure sense of the nearness of God and His "very present help in trouble."

Influenza with all its symptoms was almost instantaneously overcome through the operation of Truth in consciousness unfolded during a Christian Science lecture. Pink eye, accompanied by a sense of pain that seemed almost unbearable and made it impossible to read, was met with a realization of the power of Truth, through knowing and understanding that right thinking could not be interfered with, nor could the operation of Truth be stopped. Ptomaine poisoning was overcome in a few hours. Deafness, at a time when it seemed very necessary to hear perfectly on an initial business trip in a new position, was handled with a realization of the truth of Mrs. Eddy's statement in "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" (p. 463), "A spiritual idea has not a single element of error, and this truth removes properly whatever is offensive." Holding to the understanding of this removed the hardened wax in the ear, and freedom of hearing was manifested with no return of the condition.
