It is with a grateful heart that I give this testimony. I had my first healing, which was instantaneous, about twenty-one years ago; and since then I have had many healings and blessings. I have found that when the truth is applied scientifically, with a sincere and honest desire, there is always healing. I am grateful for what Christian Science teaches about God. In the old material thought I believed that God sent sickness on His children, but Christian Science taught me that God is Love.

At the time of my first healing I was under the care of a physician constantly, and also had the services of a specialist for a condition termed partical paralysis of the optic nerve. I was unable to bear any light on my eyes, and part of the time kept the room darkened. I was having help in the home, being unable to do any housework. At this time Christian Science was brought to my attention by a dear neighbor. Upon asking for and receiving an explanation of Christian Science, I was instantaneously healed. I shall never forget the joy of that healing and the freedom I experienced.
