This testimony is given as an expression of gratitude for the many blessings I have received through the study and application of Christian Science. I took up its study after seeing my sister healed of an illness of long standing. My first healing was of chronic hemorrhoids, for which specialists had treated me without being able to give me any relief. A Christian Science practitioner gave me one treatment, which at the time gave me some relief; and it was proved later that the work was done in that one treatment, as the entire manifestation disappeared within a few months.

Before taking up the study of Christian Science I was subject to what the family physician called bilious attacks, and, at irregular intervals, to tonsillitis accompanied by high fever. I did not have treatment for either of these, but as a result of study and the understanding I gained they ceased to appear. I have also been healed of bowel trouble, food poisoning, insomnia, boils, influenza, and colds. These healings have all taken place within the last fourteen years.

I am striving earnestly each day to prove my gratitude to God for the teachings of Christ Jesus and for the "key" to the Bible which our dear Leader, Mary Baker Eddy, has given us in the textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures;" for class instruction from a loyal, earnest teacher; and for the loving help of all Christian Science practitioners and friends.
