Revelation in Action

When speaking of Christ Jesus, Mrs. Eddy writes on page 26 of "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures," "His mission was to reveal the Science of celestial being, to prove what God is and what He does for man." In the Wayshower's healing ministry we find revelation in action.

Christian Scientists recognize in Mrs. Eddy the revelator of God to this age. They admit unreservedly that she has brought to mankind the full revelation of Spirit and Spiritual being, together with all the necessary rules for carrying this revelation of God and man into practical effect in human experience. One purpose of revelation is to bring to mankind a demonstrable understanding of the nature of God and the constant evidence of His redemptive presence. Hence it behooves every students to watch lest, having accepted Christian Science as true and demonstrable, he be an appreciative hearer of the word without at the time being a continual "doer of the work." The daily life of every Christian Scientist should express the spiritual vision which continuously unfolds to him through his individual prayer, study, and demonstration.

There is glad evidence that the revelation of Christian Science is rightly interpreting the glory of God and that, through the power of divine Principle, it is steadily lifting students of Christian Science out of the thralldom of sickness, sin, poverty, sorrow, and other discords pertaining to materiality.
