Words are inadequate to express my gratitude for all the good that has come to me through Christian Science.

I should like to tell of one of my healings, that of a severe cold or grippe. The fever was so high I could not sleep. A loving practitioner was called, and in a very short time I was able to sleep, but my head continued feeling cloudy. The practitioner then came to my home and gave me the awakening which I needed. Her assurance that God is all good and that I reflect good soon uplifted me. Then I was able to sing as did the children of Israel: "The Lord is my strength and song, and is became my salvation. ... Thou art my God." I was led to read the article entitled "Heart to Heart" in "Miscellaneous Writings" by Mary Baker Eddy (pp. 262, 263), and found the last paragraph full of spiritual help: "Rock and feathers: 'Upon this rock I will build my church;' 'He shall cover thee with His feathers.' How blessed it is to think of you as 'beneath the shadow of a great rock in a weary land,' safe in His strength, building on His foundation, and covered from the devourer by divine protection and affection." Soon I was able to be up and about my duties.

It is with deep gratitude that I give this testimony, hoping others may find the way to Life, Truth, and Love.
