Among the Churches

Current Notes

WOONSOCKET, RHODE ISLAND (First Church).—A dream of years, gradually materializing as the society increased in membership and the building fund prospered, came to a realization for members of First Church of Christ, Scientist, of Woonsocket when they attended services for the first time in their new church at Rockland and Bernice Avenues. The new edifice, of shingled bungalow type, has two gables over the entrance. The main church room, thirty by sixty feet, has a seating capacity of about one hundred and thirty-five persons. The Sunday school room will be used also as a Reading Room for the present.—Providence Journal.
