Christian Scientists do not put on revivals or conduct...

Jewish Tribune

Christian Scientists do not put on revivals or conduct campaigns openly or secretly to gain followers, or for funds with which to finance its activities. Christian Science as a religious organization seeks only to serve the cause of humanity as set forth in the Bible. Christian Science is not for any particular class of people, and its membership is not made up of any particular class of people. Those who want Christian Science seek it, and to those who seek comfort and relief in Christian Science, which other methods have failed to give them, it brings comfort and healing.

On page 444 of "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures," Mrs. Eddy thus advises her followers: "If ecclesiastical sects or medical schools turn a deaf ear to the teachings of Christian Science, then part from these opponents as did Abraham when he parted from Lot, and say in thy heart: 'Let there be no strife, I pray thee, between me and thee, and between my herdmen and thy herdmen; for we be brethren.'"
