The power of Christian Science to take care of us in all our human experiences has been proved to me over and over again.

The last pronouncement of physicians for me was that it would be an impossibility for me to pass through childbirth. After becoming thoroughly tired of medicine I began to investigate Christian Science and to read Mrs. Eddy's book, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures." I shall never forget the wonderment and inspiration that came to me during the reading of this book, especially the chapter entitled "Science of Being." It was that chapter which changed my thought from one of blind belief in a hereafter, to an understanding that man's life is eternal, and that there is a Science of Life which we can understand here and now. My sense of life was changed. I took a new interest in daily living, became stronger and happier, and, with the help of a practitioner, I passed safely and well through the experience of childbirth.

In the light of this new understanding of life, which I gained through the continued study of Christian Science, I had courage and strength to undertake the rearing of my little family. Many false laws of human belief were overcome during the years of caring for my children. I always looked upon my work as a work for God, and that gave me the key to better attainment.
