Meeting of Monitor Advertising Information Committees

All sections of the United States and several countries of Europe were represented in the yearly meeting of members of Monitor Advertising Information Committees, which filled the original Mother Church edifice on the afternoon of Tuesday, June 3.

The meeting, which was conducted by William E. Heyer, chairman of the Advertising Information Committee of First Church of Christ, Scientist, Newton, Massachusetts, opened with the singing of hymn 195, followed by silent prayer and the audible repetition of the Lord's Prayer; after which the chairman read from the Bible and the writings of Mrs. Eddy. He then delivered an address dealing with methods of developing support for Monitor advertisers, especially the methods employed by the church in Newton, Massachusetts.

Mr. Heyer was introduced by Norman S. Rose, Advertising Manager of the Monitor, who later read the following letter written by The Christian Science Board of Directors:
