Annual Meeting of The Mother Church

The Annual Meeting of The Mother Church for 1930 was held on June 2. Again, this year, the attendance was large enough to require both auditoriums. Members from far and near who have attended many of these meetings observed that this one was notable for its confidence and its unity. Among the new features introduced, the communication from The Christian Science Board of Directors, heretofore read by the Clerk, was read by one of the Directors, Mrs. Annie M. Knott, C. S. D. A paper on the work of Christian Science practitioners, which included several testimonies of healing, was read by Mrs. Anna E. Herzog, C. S. B., of Columbus, Ohio.

The meeting began with the singing of hymn 198, "O'er waiting harpstrings of the mind" by Mary Baker Eddy. Then the retiring President, Hon. William W. Davis, C. S., read the following selections from the Bible and "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures":
