Introductions to Lectures

Zurich, Switzerland (First Church).

Lecturer: Bliss Knapp; introduced by Miss Luise Appenzeller, who said:—

The religion of Christ Jesus came to Paul (then Saul) of Tarsus, the learned Pharisee, the persecutor of the Christians. Paul was not asked if he had acquired too much "book-learning" to accept this religion. It just came to him with unmistakable proof, with "signs following," revealing to him the one God and enabling him to impart his understanding of God to others.
