Christian Science has been my only physician for the past twenty years. I have been healed of pneumonia, influenza, inflammatory rheumatism, and appendicitis through the loving help of practitioners. I am grateful for all the physical healings, but more grateful for the spiritual understanding I have gained through these experiences. I am grateful for the privilege of class instruction and for membership in The Mother Church and in a branch church. I am grateful to our revered Leader, Mary Baker Eddy, for giving us this truth, and for the privilege of nine months' service in the sanatorium of The Christian Science Benevolent Association; also for service in the Field as a Christian Science nurse.
