I became interested in Christian Science through reading a Christian Science Sentinel. The first article that I read convinced me that Christian Science was nearer Christ Jesus' teaching than anything I had found before. I had been brought up by very religious parents, the family all being members of a so-called orthodox church, of which I, also, became a member at the age of fourteen; but to me there was something lacking. It did not satisfy me, and I can truthfully say with the Psalmist, "I had fainted, unless I had believed to see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living."

Since coming into Christian Science a number of years ago, I have had many healings. Some time ago I had what the doctors diagnosed as an abscess in the chest. I called a Christian Science practitioner for help, which was lovingly given, and was healed. I have also been healed of facial paralysis. I seemed to have lost the use of one side of my face; one eye would not close, and the whole side of the face seemed paralyzed. This, also, was met in a few treatments by a practitioner.

I am indeed grateful to Mrs. Eddy for this wonderful truth she has given to the world. I am thankful also for class instruction by a loyal teacher, and for the activities of The Mother Church.
