About three years ago I heard of Christian Science. A friend lent me some pamphlets and I began at once to read them. The following Wednesday I decided to go to the Christian Science church. That day proved to be a blessing to me; and I daily thank God, who led me there.

When I came to Christian Science I was nearly broken down with many complaints, especially one, constipation, from which I had suffered more than thirty years and for which I had sought many doctors, who all declared there was no help, because it was such a bad case. I then asked for help from a lady in Science, and to my unutterable joy I was healed after only three treatments, and I have never since been troubled with it. I have also been healed of several other painful and dangerous diseases.

One night I was taken suddenly ill and thought of asking a practitioner for help, but felt unwilling to disturb her during the night. I then tried to help myself through prayer to God; and by an understanding of His almightiness and boundless love the pain at once ceased, the fever abated, and the next morning I could get up. Daily I thank God for all Christian Science has given me.
