Since I have known of Christian Science I have experienced so many wonderful proofs of God's protecting power, of His love and care, that I wish to express my gratitude. Recently my family and I were privileged to experience the practical, redeeming work of Christian Science, and so beneficially that I cannot now think of living without this beautiful truth.

Error in the form of sickness had settled down in our home with seemingly great force, and in spite of the efforts of a doctor had taken away my dear wife. The same error tried to destroy me. As I was told later on, I was quite incapable of thinking. My daughter asked a Christian Science practitioner for help, which was lovingly and unselfishly given. Once when conditions seemed to be very serious, and the practitioner was clinging faithfully to the eternal truths of God, as she afterwards told us, the illuminating words from John came to her thought, "My sheep hear my voice ... and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father's hand." Thereupon a change for the better took place, and shortly afterwards I was able to get up and was gratefully happy that it had become more evident than ever before to me that Life is God, Principle, Love, and that man is and shall remain His image, untouched by time and decay.

The Scriptures, which, through the textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy, are explained so clearly, have become a guide to me which I need daily; consequently, I am sincerely grateful to our dear Leader. I am also grateful for the wonderful blessing of class instruction which she has provided, and which I have been privileged to receive. God be praised for His great goodness and love!
