Like the Israelites of old I have often wandered. Those days seemed dark and dreary; and Love alone lifted me out of that great darkness to know Life as God, as Spirit. I have been healed of many material ailments, such as rheumatism, pneumonia, influenza, lost speech, indigestion, and severe headaches. The case of inflammatory rheumatism was a severe one, for I was helpless and suffered severe pains. My sister not knowing very much about Christian Science at the time, was frightened when she found me unconscious, and called a doctor. The doctor said that if I had another attack it would probably be fatal, for there had been severe heart pains. When I became conscious I asked my sister to call a Christian Science practitioner. She did so, and treatment was begun at once. Within five weeks I was at work again, and to-day I am as supple as I was formerly and there is no stiffness of the joints. This was over twelve years ago, and the difficulty has never returned.

I am thankful for the kind practitioner, who was ever ready to serve; and I am trying to be as unselfish as she is in helping others to know the truth. I am also thankful to Mrs. Eddy, who discovered and gave to us this wonderful truth, so that we can apply it in destroying sin and sickness as Jesus, our Way-shower, did when on earth. And I am thankful to God, the all-knowing, all-seeing, all-powerful Mind, who loves all His children.
