I am grateful for the privilege of expressing my gratitude...

I am grateful for the privilege of expressing my gratitude for the many blessings and healings which I have experienced in Christian Science. Some time ago tuberculosis attempted to manifest itself on my body. To please a loved one I had an X-ray photograph taken and it showed an active lesion. I was told by the doctor that I must be very calm and have no fear, and that it would doubtless yield to treatment. He admonished me to go at once to a sanitarium and make arrangements to remain there about two years and a half. Instead of going to the sanitarium I went to a Christian Science practitioner, who lovingly reassured me of God's allness and of the nothingness of error. She continued treatment for one month. At the end of this time I was completely healed of this and of minor ills and went about doing my normal duties and leading an active life.

Although this experience occurred over six years ago, there remained in my family a "doubting Thomas," but another X-ray picture showed the evidence removed. None but those who have had similar experiences can know the feeling of joy I have in knowing that even the most doubting may be convinced of the healing efficacy of Christian Science. I am grateful for class instruction, for membership in The Mother Church and in a branch church, and for all the Christian Science literature and activities.
