Seeking to regain my health I consulted doctors for thirteen years, but avail. Finally I was so ill that I had an X-ray photograph made of my lungs. It showed a serious condition. In my despair I went to an eminent specialist for lung trouble. After examining me he said the complaint was so far advanced that morning more could be done. I was desperate when I left him, as I was still very young and did not want to die; therefore I began to look for some means of getting well.

Shortly afterwards a woman came into my place of business and asked me how I was. I told her about my illness. She explained something of Christian Science to me and gave me a copy of the Christian Science Sentinel, asking me to read and study it, and, if I were interested in it, to come to church. This I did. She saw me at church and introduced me to a practitioner, who upon my request began to work for me. I was enthusiastic about Christian Science, and in six days was completely healed.

I am enjoying perfect health, and I thank our loving Father-Mother God for the wonderful healing He has granted me. I should also like to express my sincerest gratitude to our beloved Leader, Mary Baker Eddy, who has revealed the Christ, Truth, to us, and sincere gratitude also to the practitioner for his loving help and for the great patience he had with me.—Henry A.
