I wish to bear grateful testimony to the healing effects of Christian Science in my life. I was led to the study of Christian Science through the desire to see a dearly loved member of my family restored to health. At this time I was suffering from grippe, which caused much discomfort. While reading the Bible and endeavoring to apply its truths as I was coming to understand them in Christian Science, I was instantaneously healed. With this healing came the realization of what Christ Jesus meant when he said, "Ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free." From that time I began the systematic study of Christian Science.

Through the understanding of divine Principle which I have thus gained, as well as through the efforts of loyal, consecrated practitioners, I have been healed of kidney trouble with attendant high blood pressure and of a complete nervous breakdown; also of colds, headaches, and recurring bilious attacks. I am most grateful for the complete healing of a condition for which materia medica offered me no remedy at all. Business problems have been solved and financial conditions greatly improved for members of my household. In several instances I have seen Christian Science utilized to enable the seekers of new positions to gain a clearer sense of man's real position as the child of God, with the result that positions far beyond their expectations have obtained.

As a clearer sense of God as Father-Mother is gained, old thought-habits of worry, fear, and doubt are being replaced by the joyous expectancy of good. However, the words of our beloved Leader, Mary Baker Eddy, the Discoverer and Founder of Christian Science, in "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" (Pref., p. ix) best express my thoughts, when she says that "to-day, though rejoicing in some progress, she still finds herself a willing disciple at the heavenly gate, waiting for the Mind of Christ."
