About three and a half years ago, I was healed in two Christian Science treatments of a physical condition of fourteen years' standing. For two years previous to this I had spent from four to five weeks at a time in a hospital. The second time I was taken there my condition was so bad that I had to have two blood transfusions performed. When I was dismissed from the hospital the chief physician told me the only remedy he could suggest was X-ray treatments. I submitted to these treatments for several months and the condition disappeared, only to reappear in a short time. On calling at the doctor's office where the treatments were given, I was told I would have to submit to the X-ray treatments again. I became very much discouraged, having "suffered many things of many physicians," and I then resorted to Christian Science treatment.

Christian Science was brought to me some four or five years ago by a very dear friend, but it was not until my extremity became God's opportunity, that I made my first visit to a loving practitioner, where the truth, as taught in Christian Science, was so lovingly revealed that the healing resulted.

To say I am grateful to our beloved Leader, Mary Baker Eddy, would be inadequate to express the feeling I have in my heart. I am deeply grateful for her consecrated life, which enabled her to give mankind this demonstrable truth, and for all the activities she has organized, including the Christian Science Sunday School, to which I have the privilege of sending my little boy; and also for membership in a branch church.—(Mrs.)—Pearl Canton, Brooklyn, New York.
