Carthage, Missouri (First Church).—The contract for the new Christian Science church building at the corner of Sixth Street and Garrison Avenue has now been let. The building is to be of the Norman style of architecture and of bungalow type of yellow pressed brick and Carthage marble trimmings. There will be two entrances, one facing on Garrison and the other on Sixth Street. The Reading Room is to be fitted with several folding doors which, when opened, will make the connecting auditorium and the Reading Room one large room. This will give a seating capacity of two hundred and fifty. The church is building for present needs and will have a thoroughly modern and convenient type of building.
