True Character
There is opportunity for each member of The Mother
Church to develop and bring to light the true character to which the Psalmist referred when he said, "Mark the perfect man, and behold the upright: for the end of that man is peace."
In applying Christian Science true freedom is found; and every follower has ample opportunity in the activities of this organization to find the way in which to express this true freedom. In The Mother Church, however, there is no place for human will, for its weapons must be laid down and human will must yield to the control of the one supreme and infinite Mind. In the spiritual vision that came to him, John saw outside the holy city the unholy works which are the effects of the untamed will.
