I thank God for what I have learned and am learning each day in Christian Science of God's love to all mankind. I was led to it seventeen years ago through the healing of my daughter of chronic Bright's disease. I did not keep up the study of it; but through a sense of lack I came back to it, to learn that, as a child of God, I had plenty and enough to give.

My daughter was healed of influenza in a severe form in one week's time through absent treatment. She was also healed of constipation of years' standing after being under the care of the best of doctors. I myself, my daughter, and her little girl have been healed of a skin affection in its worst form. My daughter and the little girl both had high fever and at times were delirious. To material sense they were in a terrible condition. I remember one night when my daughter was very ill and delirious, fear tried to overwhelm me. Turning to my Bible I read these words in Isaiah: "Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness;" and they brought me peace.

I am so grateful for the loving Christian Science practitioners who have helped us when called upon at any time, and also deeply grateful for our beloved Leader, Mary Baker Eddy, and for many blessings received in Christian Science.
