Almost as soon as I began to study Christian Science I experienced a beautiful healing.

For over ten years I had been suffering from a severe foot complaint. Day and night I was in great pain. There were sores in my leg that discharged continually, and the bones were affected. Doctors thought this condition could be stopped only by amputating the foot, but I would not consent to this. Parts of the bones were removed, but after a short period of improvement the condition became worse again. The doctors said the wounds must not be allowed to close, because if they did there might be bad results. Then I heard of Christian Science.

I went to a Christian Science practitioner and she showed me the way to Truth. Through reading the textbook, "Science and the Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy, and the Herolds, I saw that God's infinite love is ever with men. I relied completely on this love, lost all fear and pain, and suddenly my foot was healed. Since that time I have been able to do my daily work and attend to my duties without any difficulty.
