Lecturer: Cyrus S. Rogers; introduced by Miss Etta L. Walker, who said:—

Jesus said, "Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest." Christian Science to-day is giving to a weary world assurance of rest and of deliverance from sorrow, sickness, and sin. Through the teachings of this Science we learn that rest does not consist of idleness nor sluggish inaction, but of joyous, right activity. Our revered Leader, Mary Baker Eddy, tells us in the Christian Science textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" (p. 520), "The highest and sweetest rest, even from a human standpoint, is in holy work."
