I wish to express my gratitude for what Christian Science has done for our family. Our baby, eighteen months old, had pneumonia. After he had been given up by medical science, an osteopath told us that nothing but Christian Science could save him. So we turned to God for help in Christian Science, and in four days he was playing. Since then we have had many healings, of stomach trouble, headaches, mumps, colds, burns, sprains, and also of a dislocated elbow, which was healed in a few treatments. Our son was healed of appendicitis when to mortal sense he might not have lived through the night. He is now strong and well.

When our last baby was born, I had absent treatment alone; and it was a painless birth. The child came at nine o'clock in the morning and I ate dinner with the rest of the family. Being the mother of eight, I can hardly say how much I appreciate the help I received from Christian Science when this baby was born.

I thank God for all the blessings that have come to us through Christ Jesus; our beloved Leader, Mrs. Eddy; our practitioners; and our periodicals. I am thankful for being counted worthy to be a member of The Mother Church.
