In a further letter which appeared in your issue of the 5th inst., I notice that the writer still maintains his contention that Mrs. Eddy "distorts" the Scriptures, or, in other words, that his (the so-called orthodox) interpretation of the Scriptures is correct, while that of Mrs. Eddy is erroneous.

Having already set forth the teachings of Mrs. Eddy at some length in your columns, it appears to me that further argument would be useless, and I therefore content myself with drawing the attention of the writer and your readers to the following:

I would ask them to remember the injunction of Christ Jesus when he said, "Heal the sick," and also, "A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit." Having brought those sayings to remembrance, I would then ask them to consider the following facts:
