[A letter from The Christian Science Board of Directors regarding unity of action by Branch Churches to promote the dedication of Church Edifices]

Dear Friends:

When the Christian Science churches of a community unselfishly unite for the furtherance of the common good, recognizing that "immortal Mind, governing all, must be acknowledged as supreme in the physical realm, so-called, as well as in the spiritual" (Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures, by Mary Baker Eddy, p. 427), then certain forces of righteousness are brought into operation that are irresistible. Limitation no longer imposes apathy, nor does lack breed discord. When a church steps out of debt, it steps into greater vitality.
