I lived for many years in a small town in the Rocky Mountains of Colorado, and did not hear of Christian Science until 1911. In that year we moved to Los Angeles, California, and one day while at work cleaning a shed on the rear of the lot where we were living I found a copy of The Christian Science Journal. By reading that Journal I was healed of chronic headaches and many other difficulties. I soon bought a copy of "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy, as that book was spoken of so many times in the Journal and I felt that I must have it. Through study, understanding, and application of Christian Science I have been healed of many physical difficulties, and also of a very bad disposition.

I am truly grateful to God and to Mrs. Eddy for Christian Science, and to those dear friends in The Christian Science Publishing Society for the beautiful message of healing they send to the world through the Journal, the Sentinel, and the Monitor, the greatest newspaper in the world.
