I have been helped through the testimonies of others so many times that I wish to tell something of what Christian Science has done for my children and me. I was healed of hereditary nervous prostration through the faithful help of a Christian Science practitioner. This healing took about a year, but I was able during that time to do my work and to care for the children, except for about a week. The healing was complete and permanent, as it occurred almost ten years ago.

At two different times two of the children had throat trouble, pronounced by the school nurse "slow tonsillitis." These healings were also slow; but we were wonderfully protected, and felt we had much to be grateful for.

The removal of a splinter from our little boy's hand was a wonderful proof of God's loving care. The splinter was about an inch long, and broke off when we tried to pull it out. It stayed in his hand for five weeks without making his hand sore or causing any trouble. The place where the splinter went in healed up, but I noticed a few days before it came out that a little opening was forming in the skin. One night I put my hand on the splinter, and it came right out, as clean as when it went in. I was very grateful for this, as I was afraid when I saw that the splinter had broken off.
