I am indeed grateful for Christian Science

I am indeed grateful for Christian Science. The first reading of the textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy, gave me a new concept of God and His creation, and lifted from my heart a great sense of sorrow and depression. I am grateful that the daily study of this book, in connection with the Bible, is giving me a better understanding of God and His ever present, ever active law of good. It is enabling me to love more, and to be a better woman both mentally and physically.

When I first began to take Christian Science treatment for physical healing a dear practitioner would say to me, as she lovingly led my thought away from self and up to the Giver of all good, "Count your blessings, my dear; count your blessings," words which, though little understood at the time, have many times since proved to be "a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path." During the epidemic of influenza I was healed of that disease in one treatment. I was visiting at the time in the home of a friend who was a practitioner. After giving me a silent treatment she left the room. Soon I heard her clear, sweet voice singing,
