Lecturer: Peter V. Ross; introduced by Miss Maud M. Peek, who said:—

One Sunday morning several years ago as I was coming out of a Christian Science Sunday School with one of my little scholars, the fire engines went past. The little girl turned to me and said, "God never made anything that destroys." And that is just what Christian Science teaches us: God never makes anything that destroys. And so, whatever seems to try to destroy our health or our happiness or our peace of mind is not of God. I have been healed in Christian Science of the wearing of glasses, of a badly sprained ankle, of toothache, influenza, colds, and other ailments, and a peace of mind has come to me that cannot be expressed in words.
