Among the Churches
Current Notes
Boonville, Indiana (Society).—The members of the Boonville Christian Science Society have now moved into their own little church on the corner of Walnut and Second Streets. In August of this year the Christian Scientists purchased the residence on the corner of Walnut and Second Streets, and it has been converted into a comfortable church. The two front rooms became the church auditorium; and the middle room will be used for board meetings. Opera chairs were installed in the church, and there is ample room for the seating of sixty persons.—Boonville Standard.
Hull, England (First Church).—First Church of Christ, Scientist, Hull, has now formally been dedicated. It is eight years since the present building on Beverley Road was opened, but it is the custom of Churches of Christ, Scientist, to dedicate their churches only when they are free from debt. There was no special ceremony, but the First Reader of the church read an address dedicating the church building to the worship of the one God and to the teaching and practice of Christian Science.
