I owe all gratitude to God for the enlightenment that Christian Science has given to me and mine. I am very grateful to that consecrated Christian woman, Mary Baker Eddy, the Discoverer and Founder of Christian Science, for revealing this truth.

I was a constant sufferer, always more or less under some doctor's care for an internal disorder. I refused operations, and my last doctor was kind enough to tell me that if I had no faith in him, or what he was doing for me, I might as well give him up. I then reached out for Christian Science, and found that "man's extremity" is indeed "God's opportunity." I purchased "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mrs. Eddy and started to read it from cover to cover; and in a very short time a great change came over me. I found myself well. This occurred over twenty years ago. I have had no return of the former attacks. All the happiness in our home life that has come to my husband and to me has been the result of Christian Science. We both have the privilege of teaching in Sunday school; and this has added much happiness to our lives.

In conclusion, these words of Mrs. Eddy mean much to me. In Science and Health (p. 57) she writes: "Happiness is spiritual, born of Truth and Love. It is unselfish; therefore it cannot exist alone, but requires all mankind to share it."
