GENERALLY
speaking, how careless, inaccurate, and above all how illogical, was our thinking before we commenced the study of Christian Science; how feeble our concept of Truth or reality! Also, how little we realized the importance of correct thinking; and how blindly we accepted what the carnal mind or physical sense suggested to us—and all because of their misleading and deceptive nature! The reason for this was—what?

From what was reported in a recent issue, it would appear that a medical doctor, recently commenting on why people "fall for fads and quackeries in medicine," before an audience in Emil Hirsch center, not only failed to confine his remarks to the subject of medicine, with which it is assumed he is familiar, but made several disrespectful statements about Christian Science.
For many years past, Committees on Publication and Assistant Commttees on Publication have been conferring with editors and publishers regarding the correction of erroneous statements in their periodicals; and the kindly attitude shown by the press towards our religion is due, in part at least, to the alertness and wisdom of former Committees and Assistants.
How
certain were the saintly men of the Bible that God was their sure deliverer from all untoward circumstances; that if they but listened for His voice He was their safe guide into the ways of peace and well-being! In the incomparable twenty-third psalm, the sweet singer declared in full faith, "He leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake.

Moses' great exhortation to Israel, which is set forth in Deuteronomy, are to be found the words, "And the Lord will take away from thee all sickness, and will put none of the evil diseases of Egypt, which thou knowest, upon thee.
To
attempt to number Truth's triumphs would involve encompassing all time, since from the beginning to the end of time, Truth's necessity is to prove itself victorious over all the manifold claims of error.
Inasmuch as I have been greatly helped by reading other testimonies, and in gratitude for the manifold blessings which Christian Science has bestowed on me, I give the following testimony.
Christian Science has brought much joy, happiness, and love into my life, and is teaching me how to love my neighbor as myself, as Jesus tells us to do, and how to understand God as Mind, Life, Truth, and Love.
